ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Retiring her 18–year bank career at its peak to raise her sons, Joanna Wong’s mental treasure trove of imaginative ideas was unlocked by her then–young boys who pushed her to crafting tales for entertainment. Finding the joy that resulted in their renewed reading interests, she grew these tales to become printed words in books.
She has since nurtured her characters, created new readers for young children and artfully blended her fantastic tales with facts and moral values in the hope of inspiring and encouraging would–be readers and avid readers alike.
It has taken Joanna Wong six years of starts and stops in this series that is best described as a work of art and word, a labour of love for her family and everyone who loves the printed word.
Now that her sons are university–bound, she has since gone on to pen even more books and ink canvases as an accomplished writer and artist with regularly held exhibitions. Staying true to her writing and painting crafts, Joanna Wong, together with her retired husband now traverses the globe, even to the Hermit Kingdom of North Korea for more epiphanies to inspire and colour her tales.
